Math | Float

Property functions for float arithmetic, comparisons, trigonometry, and general math operations. Requires UE 5.5+.

Property Function Description
Min Return the smaller of two floats
Max Return the larger of two floats
Modulo Floating-point remainder of Left / Right
Fraction Extract the fractional part of a float
Ceil Round up to the nearest integer
Floor Round down to the nearest integer
Truncate Drop the fractional part, rounding toward zero
< True if Left is strictly less than Right
<= True if Left is less than or equal to Right
> True if Left is strictly greater than Right
>= True if Left is greater than or equal to Right
== True if Left exactly equals Right
!= True if Left does not equal Right
Nearly Equal True if Left and Right differ by at most ErrorTolerance
In Range True if Value falls within a configurable range
Sin (Radians) Sine of an angle in radians
Cos (Radians) Cosine of an angle in radians
Tan (Radians) Tangent of an angle in radians
Asin (Radians) Arcsine, result in radians
Acos (Radians) Arccosine, result in radians
Atan (Radians) Arctangent of a ratio, result in radians
Atan2 (Radians) Arctangent of Y/X using both components, result in radians
Sin (Degrees) Sine of an angle in degrees
Cos (Degrees) Cosine of an angle in degrees
Tan (Degrees) Tangent of an angle in degrees
Asin (Degrees) Arcsine, result in degrees
Acos (Degrees) Arccosine, result in degrees
Atan (Degrees) Arctangent of a ratio, result in degrees
Atan2 (Degrees) Arctangent of Y/X using both components, result in degrees
Exp e raised to the power of Value
Log Natural logarithm of Value
Sqrt Square root of Value
Square Value multiplied by itself
Random Float Random float in [0, 1)
Random Float In Range Random float between Min and Max
Get PI The constant π
Get TAU The constant τ (2π)
Degrees To Radians Convert degrees to radians
Radians To Degrees Convert radians to degrees
Clamp Constrain a float to [Min, Max]
Clamp Angle Constrain an angle in degrees to an angular range
Lerp Linearly interpolate between two floats
Map Range Unclamped Remap a value from one range to another without clamping
Map Range Clamped Remap a value from one range to another, clamped to the output range
Normalize To Range Return a value’s position within a range as a 0–1 fraction
Sign Return -1, 0, or 1 based on the sign of Value
Select Float Return one of two floats based on a boolean
